Workshop Description

Our experienced artist and tutor, Fiona Cuthbert O’Meara will meet you where you are at in your arts practice and help you refine and develop your wheel throwing skills to take you to the next level. Revolutionise your practice as you explore a comprehensive range of organic materials and techniques and work your way towards the creation of your own unique vessels. Award winning ceramicist Fiona Cuthbert O’Meara will share her unique tricks, tips and techniques to help you develop your own style and aesthetic to bring a greater level of satisfaction to your experience with clay.

In this class you will learn to feel your way, centre, take notice, grow, learn basic skills and decide whether you want to move in a functional or sculptural direction (or explore both). No prior experience is necessary although welcomed and all standard clays, tools and equipment are provided for the duration of the workshops. Includes Clay & Bisque firing only.

Working with clay can be both grounding and cathartic as you tap into your own inner artist, shaping and allowing and connecting to earth through your process.

Just bring an apron and a towel and we will provide the rest for you to enjoy your creative experience!
