Expand your tool kit and sharpen your wheel throwing and hand building techniques with full studio support from Ceramic Artist Fiona Cuthbert O’Meara. Follow your creative impulse and continue to develop your personal aesthetic in clay and come closer to actualising your hand built, sculptural or wheel thrown work while learning to find independence in the studio. Finish and fire your work to completion.
All clay, tools and equipment provided for the duration of the workshops. Bisque firing/access to a range of glazes and glaze firing included. Fees cover a broad range of clay and materials used in standard firings. Alternative firings may be offered at an extra cost for both Gas (reduction), Pit and wood firings to cover the additional cost of materials. These are of course optional. Only work made in-studio can be glazed and fired in these sessions.
