You are invited into the working and teaching studio of Ceramicist and Interdisciplinary artist Fiona Cuthbert O’Meara.
Come and take a wander around the expansive gardens, gallery space and teaching studio. There will be an anagama kiln opening at 9am (wood firing) so be sure to arrive onetime to witness this unique event. View Fiona’s range of unique rustic wood fired collectors pieces and be the first to find out about new workshops and alternative firing experiences held monthly at the studio.

Innovative, accessible, and deeply human, Dearly Departed: death in life invites visitors into a bold exploration of mortality across Queensland’s past, present and future. Through rich historical insight, evocative artistic interpretation and interactive design, the exhibition sparks meaningful conversation about life, death and the memories we hold.
Drawing on State Library’s rich collections of objects and stories, the exhibition explores how social, cultural, spiritual, historical and political forces have shaped Queenslanders’ attitudes to death and dying – past and present.
Join us as we rediscover how confronting death helps us better understand life itself.

The Weight We Wear is an immersive contemporary arts experience exploring anxiety and depression through movement, sound and visual arts.
Rather than offering answers, the experience invites feeling and presence. It moves through vulnerability, isolation, and connection reflecting on how mental health is not an individual failure, but something deeply entangled with community, care, and belonging.
With a performance by Micaela Valerio and Maria Florencia Giuliani, with music produced by Chucho Bruno, and inspired by stories and experiences shared anonymously by our local community.

As Artificial Intelligence increasingly encroaches on our lives, artists grapple with the implications of this technology on art. Can artists harness the power of AI to inform their art making, or should the technology be excluded from the privileged space of creativity?
Five QCAD artists come together to explore this question. Featuring Christina Lowry, Fiona Cuthbert O’Meara, Joyce Lubotzky, Jude Muduioa and Rosie Lloyd-Giblett.
Much as artists in the past grappled with the binaries of nature and culture, the artists in this exhibition investigate the relationship between art and Artificial Intelligence. The artists seek to investigate how AI can be used, represented or dissociated from their practices which all find their foundation in the natural world.
